Women on the Move Endorses Kristin Gisleson Palmer for City Council, District “C”


NEW ORLEANS - Women on the Move (WoM) has endorsed Kristin Gisleson Palmer for New Orleans City Council, District “C.”

“Kristin Gisleson Palmer has a track record of being a strong, independent woman. Her work as a former Councilmember, nonprofit executive, and business owner has helped empower women throughout New Orleans. We are confident that Ms. Palmer will continue to be a great leader who cares about our community. She is also the right partner needed to help us address critical issues facing our communities,” said Roberta Brown, WoM President.

WoM incorporated over 30 years ago as a political action committee and civic organization dedicated to addressing many quality of life issues facing families in New Orleans.

Women on the Move joins a broad, bi-partisan coalition choosing to endorse Ms. Palmer, which includes the Crescent City Democratic Association, New Orleans Coalition, Independent Women’s Organization, Regular Democratic Organization, the Fraternal Order of Police Crescent City Lodge #2, the Orleans Parish Republican Executive Committee and the Greater New Orleans Republicans PAC.
